Hi I’m Elizabeth, Thanks for stopping by! I am an IIN Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, healthy living enthusiast, mom of 3 girls, and wife. Grab a cup of tea and stay a while perusing my blog where you can find easy healthy recipes, natural living recommendations and quick self-care tips. I am a migraine survivor dedicated to helping others living with chronic inflammation and autoimmune disease improve their lives.

Picture this, several years ago while shopping at the mall with my baby I started feeling a headache. This feeling was different and intense! I had no idea what was going on! I lost peripheral vison, had trouble speaking and couldn’t think straight. Numbers and letters on my phone looked strange and I couldn’t remember my husband’s phone number to call him! We immediately jumped to conclusions and thought I was having a mini stroke. Really, in my 30’s, at this young age?

That was scary and quite the wake-up call! After MRI’s, several tests and meeting with multiple neurologists I was diagnosed with Ocular Migraines. My choices were limited and the recommended prescriptions had insane side effects. After a few months, I decided that I couldn’t live the rest of my life on these medications. We wanted to build a family and live long lives together. That’s when the journey to take back my health began.

At the time, my husband and I thought we lead healthy lives, but we were so wrong! We started by gradually making small lifestyle and dietary changes and in no time we were able to significantly improve our health.

I’ve been able to manage not just migraines, but also Psoriasis, Hashimoto’s and Prediabetes – diseases I was told I would be cursed with for life – by nourishing my body with proper nutrition, healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, physical activity and a balanced lifestyle. These changes have been instrumental in healing my body and I can teach you how to do it too!

I became an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach through the program at Institute of Integrative Nutrition because I am passionate about helping others improve their lives by applying lifestyle and dietary modifications to improve their health.
